The Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) entered into an agreement with the Grant and Chelan Counties’ Public Utility Districts (PUDs) to reintroduce sockeye salmon into the Skaha Lake system. This agreement provided funding for the operation of a sockeye rearing program using a DFO hatchery in Salmon Arm.

Over an 18-month period, Headwater Capital assisted with detailed financial analysis and negotiations that led to a new agreement that provided funding for construction of an ONA-owned hatchery in Penticton, as well as operational funding for 49 years.
